Our Story
Muraho Adventures was founded from a deep appreciation of East Africa’s natural beauty and cultural richness. Our journey began in Uganda’s most remarkable wilderness areas, from the ancient rainforests of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to the vast savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Over time, this connection grew into a commitment to sharing these experiences with travelers from around the world.
Through years of working in the tourism industry, we have developed strong relationships with local communities, conservation organizations, and experienced guides. This has allowed us to build safaris that go beyond sightseeing, offering travelers a deeper understanding of the land, its wildlife, and the people who call it home.

We design and operate a wide range of safari experiences across Uganda, Rwanda, and the greater East African region. Our journeys include gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, where travelers encounter mountain gorillas in their natural forest habitat. We also offer chimpanzee tracking experiences in Kibale Forest and Nyungwe Forest, providing close encounters with some of Africa’s most intelligent primates.
For those seeking classic safari experiences, we organize wildlife journeys to Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park, and Akagera National Park. These destinations offer opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, hippos, and a wide range of other wildlife across diverse landscapes, from savannah plains to river systems and crater lakes.
