Tour Plan
Day 1: Kigali – Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival in Kigali or after breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your safari guide for a short briefing before starting your journey to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda. The drive takes you through breathtaking landscapes of rolling green hills, banana plantations, and rural communities.
On arrival, check in at your lodge located near the park and spend the afternoon relaxing as you prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure the following day. You may also enjoy optional cultural visits or simply enjoy the views of the Virunga volcanoes.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park – Return to Kigali
After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing from the rangers. You will then be assigned a gorilla family and begin your trek into the dense bamboo forest and volcanic slopes.
The trek can last anywhere from 1 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once located, you will spend a magical one hour observing them in their natural environment — watching their interactions, feeding behavior, and family bonding moments.
After the experience, return to the lodge for lunch before driving back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred directly to Kigali International Airport for departure or dropped at your hotel.
