Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali – City Experience & Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and begin a short Kigali city tour depending on arrival time. Visit landmarks such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial or local craft markets.
Afterwards, embark on a scenic drive to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda, passing through rolling green hills and rural landscapes that define the country’s beauty.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. Rangers will guide you through the dense bamboo forest in search of a habituated gorilla family.
Once located, you will spend one magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat — watching their behavior, interactions, and powerful presence in the wild.
Return to your lodge for relaxation and reflection after this life-changing experience.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking Experience
Today you will explore the lower slopes of Volcanoes National Park in search of the rare and energetic golden monkeys. These playful primates are known for their fast movements and social behavior, making the experience very entertaining.
After the trek, return to your lodge and enjoy a relaxed afternoon or opt for a cultural visit to nearby communities, including traditional dance performances or craft demonstrations.
Day 4: Return to Kigali – Departure
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive back to Kigali. Depending on your flight schedule, you may visit local craft markets for souvenirs before transfer to Kigali International Airport for departure.
